New York Mets SS Chin-Lung Hu is expected to beat out IF Luis Hernandez for the team's utility middle infield role this year, according to ESPNNewYork.com's Adam Rubin. General manager Sandy Alderson sees Hu spelling SS Jose Reyes at shortstop from time to time.
