Jets | Santonio Holmes upset with offense

New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes was unhappy about his role in the team's offensive game plan for the AFC Championship Game, according to Jenny Vrentas, of The Star-Ledger. Holmes was not on the field for the first snap of the game. "Ask Coach Schottenheimer what was the reason behind that," Holmes said, referring to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer. Holmes said he watched from the sidelines "the first couple plays" of the 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Holmes also indicated that he thought the Jets strayed from their offensive game plan. "We've got to put together the plays that we've been running against these guys, what's been working for us," Holmes said. "We kind of got away from our game plan in the game, and it forced us to go do what we have to do to survive."
