Giants | Shaun O'Hara has surgery

New York Giants C Shaun O'Hara (foot) underwent surgery Wednesday, Jan. 19, to have a screw placed in his injured foot, according to a league source, reports Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News. He will soon undergo another surgery to repair damage in his left ankle and Achilles'. According to the source familiar with O'Hara's situation, doctors decided to put the screw in the foot first to make sure that heals properly. O'Hara's timetable for a recovery isn't completely clear, but the source said the hope is he would be ready for the start of the spring minicamp in June.
