Browns | Working out contract with Pat Shurmur

The Cleveland Browns hope to hammer out a deal with St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and announce him as their new head coach by Friday, Jan. 14, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The contract should not be difficult to close, since president Mike Holmgren, general manager Tom Heckert, executive vice president Bryan Wiedmeier and Shurmur all have the same agent, Bob Lamonte.
