Seahawks | Veteran players not fans of Pete Carroll’s style?
Seattle Seahawks DL Raheem Brock said he is not the biggest fan of head coach Pete Carroll's Rah Rah, college approach to motivating players, according to Eric Williams, of the Tacoma News Tribune. Brock referred to Carroll's style as corny. "Yeah it was," Brock said. "I was like, 'Oh, we're breaking down again?' We break it down like a hundred times. He says a whole bunch of stuff and it was just like I was back in college again, and I was just like frustrated." However, Brock added that younger players could benefit from Carroll's style of coaching. "But it's good for the younger guys who have never had that experience. And I've learned to understand that everybody hasn't been in my situation, where I've been going to the playoffs so many times, and playing with Peyton (Manning) and those guys. So the younger guys who have never been in this situation, they need to hear things like that."
