Redskins | Injury Notes

The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins DE Bruce Smith (shoulder) went through a full practice on Wednesday and he appears to be on target to start Sunday's game with Oakland. Coach Marty Schottenheimer and Redskins players said QB Jeff George, who was sidelined for three weeks during training camp because of an ailing shoulder, was sharp during yesterday's practice. Starting LT Chris Samuels (pulled muscle in side) also participated fully in yesterday's practice. Bckup MLB Robert Jones again was sidelined by a knee injury. If he can't play Sunday rookie Antonio Pierce would back up Kevin Mitchell.
