Redskins | Chris Cooley played with torn meniscus
Washington Redskins TE Chris Cooley (knee) played with two meniscus tears in his knee during the 2010 season, reports Dan Steinberg, of The Washington Post. "It's almost like a hangnail in your knee," Cooley said. "Your cartilage just kind of flicks up and rubs around and messes with you. When it first happens, it's really painful, for about a month. I played in '05 about 10 games with it, and then it really calmed down so I just let it go." Cooley will have offseason arthroscopic surgery on the knee, which apparently was the result of a kick from the wife of former Redskins TE Todd Yoder.
