Falcons | Eric Weems wins NFC award

Atlanta Falcons WR Eric Weems was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for December, reports D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Weems averaged 30.9 yards on his kickoff returns in December, and he recorded touchdowns on both a punt and a kickoff during the month. The Pro Bowl specialist Weems also recorded a team-high 16 tackles on special teams this season, including a team-best five in December.
