Redskins | LB Notes

The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins may move LB Robert Jones to the outside so he can play in place of the injured LaVar Arrington. Jones may start at Arrington's strong-side linebacker spot, assuming Arrington's sprained knee ligament isn't fully healed. Kevin Mitchell will remain the team's starting MLB. Antonio Pierce will take over for weak-side LB Shawn Barber, whose season ended with a torn ACL in his right knee. Arrington said he remains optimistic he will be able to play against the Giants. He did some running during practice Tuesday.
