Cowboys | Have yet to begin interview process

As of Monday, Jan. 3, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones had yet to conduct a single interview regarding the team's head coaching vacancy partly because he spent the day saying goodbye to the team and going over the roster with interim head coach Jason Garrett, according to a source, reports Clarence E. Hill, Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Garrett is expected to get the job at some point this week; however, Jones must interview at least one minority candidate to adhere to the NFL's Rooney Rule before giving the job to Garrett. Jones said he would interview receivers coach Ray Sherman.
