Redskins | Injury Notes

The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins TE Stephen Alexander is now expected to miss at least two weeks due to his high ankle sprain suffered Monday. Rookie CB Fred Smoot (knee) was still on crutches Tuesday. He also underwent an MRI. Coach Marty Schottenheimer said he was hopeful the injury was just a bruise, but Smoot likely will join three other injured defensive starters on the shelf. CB Darrell Green would start in Smoot's place.
