Redskins | Injury Notes

The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins C Mark Fischer tore his anterior cruciate ligament during Wednesday's practice and will undergo season-ending knee surgery. Cory Raymer is the starting center and he will be backed up by rookie OL David Brandt. The Redskins could be without two rookie defensive starters Sunday, CB Fred Smoot (knee) and LB Antonio Pierce (groin). Pierce would be replaced by Robert Jones and Smoot would once again be replaced by CB Darrell Green.
