Chiefs | Derrick Johnson receives AFC weekly honor

Kansas City Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week after posting a career-best 17 tackles, including 12 solo stops, with four passes defended, reports Randy Covitz, of The Kansas City Star. Johnson joins LB Tamba Hali as the second Chiefs player to win the honor in 2010. It's the first time two Chiefs linebackers have claimed the award since the late Derrick Thomas and Tracy Simien accomplished the feat in 1991.
