Redskins | NFLPA files Albert Haynesworth grievance
The NFL Players Associated confirmed Thursday, Dec. 16, that it has filed a grievance on behalf of suspended Washington Redskins DL Albert Haynesworth, according to Ryan O'Halloran, of CSNWashington.com. Haynesworth was suspended Dec. 7 for what the team called "conduct detrimental to the team." Haynesworth could lose more than $847,000 of his base salary, the equivalent of four game checks. The NFLPA will seek to gain some of that money back even though Haynesworth will not play in the Redskins' final three games.
