49ers | Alex Smith may return as starter

San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith (shoulder) could return as the starting quarterback in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco. Head coach Mike Singletary is evaluating the position on a week-to-week basis. QB Troy Smith had 194 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.
