Pirates | Looking for starting pitchers at winter meetings

The Pittsburgh Pirates will focus on acquiring starting pitching during the winter meetings this week, according to Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. General manager Neal Huntington has approximately $15 million to spend on free agents and the team controls the No. 1 pick in the Rule 5 draft, which will take place Thursday, Dec. 9.
