Titans | Beat the Bears 27-24

The Associated Press reports the Tennessee Titans held off the Chicago Bears on Saturday night 27-24. Titans QB Steve McNair was 5-of-7 for 39 yards and had one TD on a 10-yard pass to WR Derrick Mason. No. 3 QB Billy Volek threw a 25-yard TD pass to WRChris Coleman and rookie RB Dan Alexander had a six-yard TD run. For the Bears, QB Shane Matthews was 7-of-9 for 106 yards with a TD and an interception. His TD was a 63-yard pass to WR Marty Booker. QB Danny Wuerffel threw an 11-yard TD pass to rookie WR David Terrell and R.W. McQuarters returned a punt 58 yards for a TD. Joe Nedney kicked 23- and 52-yard FGs for the Titans.
