Vikings | Tony Dungy not interested

Former NFL head coach Tony Dungy said he is not interested in becoming a general manager of the Minnesota Vikings, according to Judd Zulgad and Chip Scoggins, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The firing of head coach Brad Childress brought speculation about whether Vikings owner Zygi Wilf will reconfigure the front office and bring in a football boss to run the operation and have final say on decisions. Dungy, who served as the Vikings defensive coordinator before becoming a head coach, said he has strong ties to the area and is close friends with interim head coach Leslie Frazier.
