Vikings | Enjoy running no-huddle offense

Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre has praised the team's use of the no-huddle offense, particularly the simplicity of it, according to Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The team's use of the no-huddle was instrumental in their Week 9 victory. "Simplicity sometimes to me is one of the most overlooked things in this game," Favre said. Working from the shotgun and calling plays from a limited menu that is part of the two-minute offense, Favre completed 17 of 22 passes for 213 yards in the fourth quarter and overtime as the team rallied from a 14-point deficit with less than five minutes remaining. Head coach Brad Childress did not dismiss the possibility of implementing more of the no-huddle concept and using it earlier in games.
