Steelers | Max Starks may be done for the year
Pittsburgh Steelers OT Max Starks (neck) has a serious neck injury, which involves a disc injury, and may not be able to play again during the 2010 season, reports Ed Bouchette, of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was consulting doctors to find out if he may have to undergo surgery on the injury. The injury is not career threatening. The injury was originally believed to be a stinger, but an MRI showed a more serious injury of the disc in the upper vertebrae of the neck area.
