Dodgers | Payroll expected to increase for 2011 season

Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said the team's 2011 payroll would exceed the $95 million spent last season, although he declined to say by how much it would increase, according to Kevin Baxter of the Los Angeles Times. The Dodgers owe more than $10 million to four players no longer with the team: OF Manny Ramirez ($3.3 million), OF Andruw Jones ($3.2 million), OF Juan Pierre ($3.5 million) and OF Scott Podsednik ($100,000).
