Cowboys | Could Jerry Jones fire Wade Phillips?

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reconsidered the idea of firing Wade Phillips based on the team's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8, according to Jean-Jacques Taylor, of The Dallas Morning News. "I don't think there is anybody in the world who would doubt that I'm willing to do something hard," Jones said. "I'm willing to do something that doesn't feel good to me." At this point, Jones is simply trying to figure out how much sense it makes financially to fire Phillips and his coaching staff without a collective bargaining agreement in place.
