New York Yankees bench coach Tony Pena is a likely candidate for several of the Pittsburgh Pirates' coaching openings, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Rob Biertempfel. Other candidates for the coaching staff could be Texas Rangers hitting coach Clint Hurdle, San Francisco Giants bench coach Ron Wotus and New York Yankees third base coach Rob Thomson.
