Angels | Scot Shields unlikely to return

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim RP Scot Shields, the last remaining player from the team's 2002 World Series title, is unlikely to return to the team next season, according to MLB.com's Lyle Spencer. Shields will become a free agent this offseason. "I can go either way," Shields said of the uncertain road ahead. "If I get a good enough offer, I'll look at it. If not, I can go home and be happy with my family, spend a lot more time with my kids. My oldest girl, Kayla, is 8, and my younger girl, Ella, is 5. I have to sit down with my wife and talk about it - which we've done already."
