Seahawks | Deon Butler impressing head coach

Seattle Seahawks WR Deon Butler has been a real playmaker for the team so far this season, according to head coach Pete Carroll, reports Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times. When Carroll first joined the team and watched film on the players from last year, he thought Butler was a long ways away from being a factor for them. However, a strong offseason later and Carroll said Butler was the one player that improved the most from last year. Carroll said the team is going to continue to utilize him and they love his speed. "He can really take the top off a defense," Carroll said.
