Whitney | Jeremy LaFaver suspended
Whitney Motorsports crew chief Jeremy LaFaver was suspended and fined $50,000 Wednesday, Sept. 22, for engine valves below the mandated weight found after the Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last weekend, according to SceneDaily.com's Bob Pockrass. LaFever is the crew chief for driver Michael McDowell. McDowell and the team were each docked 50 points in the Cup driver and owner standings.
