San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman (Achilles'), LB Brandon Siler (ankle), OL Scott Mruczkowski (ankle), OL Nick Richmond (ankle) and TE Richie Brockel (shoulder) did not play Saturday, Aug. 21, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune.
