Bears | Pleased with Corey Wootton's development

Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said he has been pleased with how DE Corey Wootton has developed during training camp, but he still needs to work on getting lower during plays, reports Michael C. Wright, of ESPNChicago.com. "Other than playing too tall -- he stands up too much, too high -- what I've really been impressed with is his mental toughness," Marinelli said. "Every down, he plays hard. He's physical. He listens. He's not thin-skinned, and he's getting better every day. I mean, he plays real hard, now. I'm impressed with that." Wootton still has a chance to be a member of the team's defensive line rotation.
