Vikings | Brad Childress losing credibility?

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress seems to be losing credibility with his own team after lying about the situation with QB Brett Favre Tuesday, Aug. 17, according to Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole. Childress tried to cover up the fact that three of the team's players went to meet with Favre before he flew back to Minnesota. "Chilly can't even tell the truth about that," an unnamed player said. "I mean, how ridiculous is that? What's the big deal that he has to lie? Worse, he has to tell other guys to lie for him?" Apparently, Favre also has no respect for Childress. "Brett thinks Childress has no clue about offense," a Vikings player said. Childress' presence was one of the main reasons why Favre was hesitant about playing again this year.
