Vikings | Sage Rosenfels expected to see extensive playing time

Minnesota Vikings backup QB Sage Rosenfels is expected to replace QB Tarvaris Jackson after the team's first offensive series and could play into the third quarter before he gives way to rookie QB Joe Webb, reports Judd Zulgad, of The Minneapolis Star Tribune. Rosenfels has been seeing second-team reps throughout training camp. The extended playing time could be an attempt to showcase him for potential trade if QB Brett Favre returns.
