Giants | Michael Johnson sits out Thursday

New York Giants SS Michael Johnson (back) sat out the team's evening practice Thursday, Aug. 12, with back spasms, reports Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News. His injury doesn't sound serious because head coach Tom Coughlin said he was "surprised" that Johnson wasn't out practicing since he looked better in meetings earlier in the day.
