New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said he has excited by how DE Vernon Gholston performed during practice Monday, Aug. 9, and hopes Gholston can string together several productive practices, reports Manish Mehta, of the New York Daily News. "That's the best day he's had since I've been here. I want to see him string some together… This is the most excited I've ever been about Vernon Gholston…. Whatever he had for breakfast, he needs to eat (more). That was big time," Ryan said.
