Packers | Johnny Jolly agrees to plea deal
Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers DL Johnny Jolly has agreed to a plea deal that will wipe clean the charge from his record if he stays clean for one year, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Greg A. Bedard. Jolly was given a one year pretrial diversion after agreeing to plead guilty to the charge, though it was not made clear what kind of charge it was. He had been facing up to 20 years in prison on allegations of possessing more than 200 grams of codeine. Jolly has been suspended for the 2010 season and is eligible to apply for reinstatement after the Super Bowl.
