Dolphins | Phillip Merling facing felony charges
Miami Dolphins DE Phillip Merling is facing felony aggravated assault charges after the state attorney's office in Broward County decided to file the charges upon the review of the evidence, reports Ben Volin, of the Palm Beach Post. Merling allegedly battered his pregnant girlfriend in May. Merling's attorney has already entered a not guilty plea and a jury trial as been requested.
