Bears | Matt Forte struggled as the lone back

Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte ran the ball 132 times out of the I-formation last year and averaged 4.5 yards per carry, reports the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs. As the lone back, Forte averaged just 2.7 yards per carry on 85 carries. New offensive coordinator Mike Martz hasn't typically used a fullback in the past, and neither FBs Will Ta'ufo'ou nor Eddie Williams are locks to make the roster. The Bears might end up using TE Brandon Manumaleuna out of the backfield at times, possibly as an H-back.
