Boston Red Sox OF Ryan Westmoreland (brain) is recovering nicely after undergoing surgery three months ago to fix a cavernous malformation on his brain, according to ESPNBoston.com's Brendan Hall. Westmoreland has been running and throwing. "If you had asked me three months ago (to now), the progress has been amazing," Westmoreland said. "Everything I've heard from the doctors, they all say the progress has been amazing. I'm excited to keep it going."
