Mets | Christopher Carter expected to play in next five games

New York Mets 1B Christopher Carter is expected to start the next five games at designated hitter until the team faces a left-handed pitcher Sunday, June 20, according to ESPNNewYork.com's Adam Rubin. Manager Jerry Manuel might continue to try and find playing time for Carter when interleague play ends, which means OF Jason Bay could be moved to center field with Carter playing left.
