Browns | Eric Mangini forbids fighting during minicamp

Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini said he will forbid fighting in minicamp following a fight in practice Thursday, June 10, according to Steve Doerschuk, of the Canton Repository. "We shut that down," Mangini said Friday, June 11. "We're not going to do it." Mangini said he addressed the fight with the team after practice. "There's plenty of chances for a guy to show how tough he is," Mangini said. "That's not one of them." Mangini cited the potential for injury in a fight and the danger of penalties if a retaliation mentality is carried into games.
