Jaguars | Vincent Manuwai to compete for starting job

Jacksonville Jaguars OG Vincent Manuwai, who was recently demoted to the second team, said he knows he must fight to keep his job, particularly with the addition of OG Justin Smiley, according to Vito Stellino, of the Florida Times-Union. "I never shy away from competition," Manuwai said. "When they run fourth-and-1 on my side, I love it. Some guys are afraid of it." Head coach Jack Del Rio was blunt when talking about Manuwai. "I think Vinny still has a ways to go. I think Vinny's working at it. He's got his weight down. He's trying, but he needs to play better. I think he knows that. He's working hard at it," Del Rio said.
