Eagles | Battle at Defensive End
PhiladelphiaEagles.com reports the Philadelphia Eagles are expecting a battle on the defensive line this pre-season. Hugh Douglas has a starting job at defensive end already wrapped up while Brandon Whiting, Derrick Burgess, N.D. Kalu, Greg Jefferson and Uhuru Hamiter are all battling for playing time and roster spots at defensive end. The starting spot opposite of Douglas remains wide open after the team released Mike Mamula last month.
