Orioles | Mike Gonzalez rehabs Thursday

Baltimore Orioles RP Mike Gonzalez (shoulder) gave up a single and walked a batter in a scoreless inning in extended Spring Training Thursday, May 20, according to the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network's Roch Kubatko. Gonzalez struck out two, including one on an 89 mph fastball. He utilized his fastball, slider and changeup during the outing. "I wanted to get back out there and throw and see how it went. Obviously, there was no pain so it's definitely a plus for me," Gonzalez said. "I'm not looking at anything else right now except going out there pain-free, and it felt good, so I want to say overall it was a positive outing for me." He will pitch again Saturday, May 22.
