Cowboys | Alex Barron to compete for starting left tackle job

Dallas Cowboys OT Alex Barron said it is his understanding from the team that he will compete with OT Doug Free for the starting left tackle job, according to Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "They expect me to come in and compete for a left tackle spot," Barron said. "I'm going to give it my all and help the team the best way."
