Hendrick | Alan Gustafson, Chad Knaus re-signed

Hendrick Motorsports extended the contracts of crew chiefs Alan Gustafson and Chad Knaus Friday, April 30, according to The Associated Press. Gustafson is the crew chief for driver Mark Martin, and it is believed that he received a four-year deal through the 2014 season. He will likely be paired with Richard Petty Motorsports driver Kasey Kahne when he joins the team. Knaus is the crew chief for driver Jimmie Johnson, and his extension is for five years and will run through 2015. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
