Bills | Seventh round quarterbacks don't have great history
If Buffalo Bills rookie QB Levi Brown is going to emerge as the team's top quarterback, he is going to have to buck the historical trend, reports Sal Maiorana, of The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. Since 2000, 21 quarterbacks have been drafted in the seventh round. Of that group, only eight have started a game and none have a career record above .500. Head coach Chan Gailey said Brown has a very good arm, throws a nice spiral and played in an offense that allowed him to throw the ball a great deal. "We had targeted him as a guy who was promising to us," Gailey said.
