Anthony Andro, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports the Texas Rangers claimed 1B Ryan Garko off waivers from the Seattle Mariners Thursday, April 1. Garko will take the last roster spot that IF Matt B. Brown and C Max Ramirez were competing for.
