Jets | Coaching Update

The NY Daily News reports with the hiring of Herman Edwards as head coach of the New York Jets, offensive coordinator Dan Henning will not be back with the team. He may opt for retirement. Possible replacements include Colts QB coach Bruce Arians, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Pendry and former USC coach Paul Hackett. Bucs defensive line coach Rod Marinelli is a candidate for defensive coordinator as the Edwards is expected to release Mike Nolan the current d-coordinator. Sources close to the team said Edwards may hire an entirely new coaching staff, with RB coach Maurice Carthon and OL coach Bill Muir two of the current coaches that could stay.
