Mets | Team could begin season without designated set-up man

Updating previous reports, New York Mets manager Jerry Manuel said it's possible that the team could start the season without a designated set-up man, according to The Newark Star-Ledger's Brian Costa. RPs Kiko Calero, Ryota Igarashi and Bobby Parnell have not done enough in camp to earn the job outright and Manuel said he would not put P Jenrry Mejia into that position at the start of the season, although he feels he could eventually grow into the role.
