Jets | QB Notes

The Star-Ledger's Dave Hutchinson reports the New York Jets will bring in former Penn State QB Rashard Casey for a tryout tomorrow, the first day of the team's veteran and rookie mini-camp. "We're going to bring him in for a tryout on Friday, and if we like him, we'll sign him," Jets coach Herman Edwards said of Casey. The Jets are looking for a No. 3 QB behind Vinny Testaverde and Chad Pennington and prefer one who is mobile. They are very high on Tory Woodbury, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Winston Salem State. Edwards said the Jets aren't interested in former Tampa Bay QB Ted White, who was cut this week.
