Redskins | A. Carter could be released

Rick Maese, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins DL Andre Carter could be in jeopardy of being released in the offseason. Carter is likely too small to play defensive end in a 3-4 defense, and if the teams signs a linebacker such as free-agent LB Larry Foote (Lions), LB Rocky McIntosh could slide over to the outside linebacker slot and Carter would be the odd man out.
