Dolphins | Talks with Pennington hit a snag
Chris Mortensen, of ESPN.com, reports the Miami Dolphins talks with free-agent QB Chad Pennington (Dolphins) have hit a snag because Pennington requested to have a no-trade clause in his contract, according to team and league sources. Pennington and the Dolphins were expected to reach an agreement on a one-year, $2.5 million contract. Pennington has a young family and does not want to move this year, and he was holding out for assurances he would not be traded.
